Who we’re looking for – in brief
We’re looking for a project coordinator to help strengthen and run our Digital Asset Management system (DAM). The role involves working with and supporting various team players – including graphic designers, art directors, marketing planners and project managers – by becoming our DAM super-user, organizer, and trainer. The job is project based and limited to 12 months but is also a chance to get to know a global business in hearing healthcare technology.
The role – what you get to do every day
Once you’re trained, you’ll become our DAM super-user. This means being responsible for DAM maintenance, development, training, and support. On a high level, the job is to systematically control the assets throughout their lifecycle and secure access to them in appropriate versions and formats. On a more operational level, you will:
- control and approve new and existing assets, ensuring taxonomy is updated, optimized and used correctly
- improve structure, classification, and usability in response to company needs
- drive and support system updates, including facilitating dialogue with our IT support team
- act as primary liaison between product managers, art directors and other stakeholders
- train others in using the system
You might be an experienced DTP-er (“rentegner”) seeking a new challenge. Or you might be recently certified in information management (IM) and eager to take on a new project. Or maybe you’re just a natural at data structuring and looking to flex your skills. What matters is that you have a digital mindset, can learn quickly, and have a relevant degree and/or experience in:
- IM (product, asset or marketing information), as a developer/programmer/information architect, or in data documentation/archiving
- the construction and maintenance of data systems: product hierarchies, metadata, and taxonomies
- enrichment and markup of product information in relation to campaign management
- a general working knowledge of the Adobe CC Package (especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat) is very beneficial
In addition, you’ll enhance and support our team because you’re highly structured, systematic, and exceptionally detail-oriented; a self-starter with a can-do attitude and a flair for process optimization; able to balance a variety of projects simultaneously, even under tight deadlines; fluent (or nearly fluent) in English; and passionate about growing your skillset.

You’ll join the Brand & MarCom team, part of Global Marketing here at our bright and open Oticon Medical Headquarters in Smørum, just outside Copenhagen. We create engaging, world-class communications, marketing materials, translations and GTM processes – to achieve our commercial goals and our vision of a world where hearing loss is no limitation. The team works cross-functionally and in collaboration with our marketing, product management, operations, customer experience and regulatory teams.
