Neuro Zti Implant range

The Neuro Zti cochlear implant is the result of more than 25 years’ experience in cochlear implant development, manufacturing know-how and material science expertise. It is the most compact implant on the market providing a powerful future-proof electronic platform that enables you to enjoy the wide variety of sound in your life today and in the future.

See how the Neuro Zti implant works

Highly compact and robust

The Neuro Zti implant receiver is made of zirconia and titanium — two materials that are widely used in the medical field because of their biocompatibility. In addition, these innovative materials enable an implant design that is small, highly robust and able to absorb impacts encountered in daily life. Its small size also means the Neuro Zti implant receiver can be placed closer to the ear rather than the back of the head. For many users, children in particular, this is more practical in many daily situations, such as when sitting in a car seat.

The Neuro Zti implant is a future-proof design for simple and safe surgery

Designed for safe and simple surgery

The design of the Neuro Zti implant has been optimised with the help of many surgeons. Their input has led to the development of a minimally invasive surgical procedure. The implant is simply attached using two small titanium screws in a surgical procedure that requires no drilling into the bone itself. This significantly reduces the time needed for surgery and the extensive risk of healing complications.

Two different electrode arrays can be used with the Neuro Zti. They are designed to be inserted comfortably and without damaging the delicate cochlear structure. Once inserted, they enable transmission of the full sound spectrum using the latest signal processing strategies.

Future-proof

Hearing technology is constantly evolving, which is why the Neuro Zti implant has been designed to support new sound processing strategies. In other words, when new technologies are launched to improve the hearing performance of your cochlear implant system, you will always be able to use them.

To give you full confidence that your Neuro Zti implant is always working optimally, it contains a component that allows audiologists to check its settings and overall integrity.

This is done by measuring the electrically evoked compound action potential (ECAP measures). These measurements can also be used to adjust settings for the individual user, for better hearing performance.
