    An implant for bone conduction hearing can be successfully used by children* with:

     • Conductive hearing loss
     • Sensorineural hearing loss

     • Single-sided deafness
     • Ear canal and middle ear problems
     • Malformations of the outer ear, such as atresia or microtia
     • Hearing loss caused by chronic ear infections

    *In the Unites States of America, Canada and Singapore, surgery is contraindicated for children below the age of five.
