Insurance and financing

Reimbursement of surgery and hospitalisation costs, as well as any maintenance expenses for the sound processor and accessories, depends on where you live. Each country has its own health system and different regulations that cover cochlear implants.

To find out more about financing and reimbursement, check with your local implantation centre or contact the implant users’ association in your country. They will be able to provide you with correct and up to date information.

Following cochlear implantation, it is always recommended that you take out insurance on your sound processor to cover loss, theft or damage.
