Also, the countersink has been equipped with an outer collar with no cutting edge. This soft stop feature is designed to prevent countersinking more than 0.3 mm to improve accuracy and safety during surgery.
Oticon Medical teamed up with Nouvag AG to develop a dermatome specifically for bone anchored surgery. This tool has an adjustable cutting thickness of 0.6-1.0 mm, designed for a more optimal graft thickness and a better surgical outcome.
